The Indy Saints Football Club (ISFC) and United Soccer Alliance of Indiana (USAi) are pleased to announce a working partnership that focuses on development for both players and coaches. Both organizations yield the same values and principles in how soccer can impact the community and look forward to collaborating to see those impacts come alive in the central Indiana soccer community.
The specifics include providing player development opportunities with ISFC through their participation in the U23 Adult Amateur Ohio Valley Premier League. The OVPL is the nation's largest adult amateur regional league. Each organization welcomes a fresh approach to bringing experienced players from various backgrounds to the club and community.
Furthermore, the relationship produces an improved player pathway USAi. "We are excited to be able to offer a platform for our players to graduate into after they age out of the youth leagues. We aim to provide a complete player pathway from youth to adult. USAi looks forward to working with ISFC on this development," remarks USAi Coaching Director Theron Smith.
"It is exciting to formalize this effort with one of the largest clubs in Indiana to provide a platform for players' from USAi, local clubs, colleges, and universities to continue playing. We've developed an excellent approach for USAi to add value to players that have aged out of the youth soccer system with this opportunity." shared Jason Brown of Indy Saints FC.
The U23 initiative will kick off this summer at USAi, with many of the contests taking place at Cardinal Ritter High School. The ongoing relationship will support player development and provide opportunities to connect, grow and serve the Indianapolis and USAi community through soccer.
If you are a men's player that is between the age of 17 to 28 and have an interest in becoming part of this summer playing opportunity, please fill out the ISFC player application. The season operates from Mid-May to the end of July.
